I have defragged the game and cleaned and defragged the registry. It's as though something corrupted the loaded version. I've uninstalled FSX and Acceleration, reinstalled each of them (not repaired) and the problem persists. Yesterday MS FSX hung at 'load' (FSX intro screen).
Fsx acceleration splash screen software#
The hard drive is cleaned of rubbish regularly and defragged, or checked weekly. I have been running current hardware and software configuration since Nov 2008 - no problems. I have added a few aircraft and some scenery, but that shouldn't have that much effect on opening menus, should it? I don't have any programs running in theīackground. The same thing happens with aircraft and time and season and it is bugging me big time now.Īnyone any ideas what is causing this? It used to load reasonably quickly. I total it can sometimes take 15-20 minutes before I can even start the engine.įor example If i click on select airport, I have to wait 30- 60 seconds before the drop down menu appears, then after I have elected the airport, the page stops responding for 2-5 minutes. You should see an online Activation dialog For AccelerationPack not long after starting FSX, shortly after seeing the opening SplashScreen, there may be some new routines run, but before the FreeFlight screen, there will be some routine auto-configuration upon activation. I click on free flight, that's OK, but when I try to select aircraft, time and season or airport, it can take another 2-4 minutes each. When I start FSX the splash screen can take 2-4 minutes before I get the first menu. The problem is getting it running in the first place. down to around 15 at a busy international airport. Once FSX is running, I get frame rates (depending on traffic, scenery etc) of between 30 and 60.
Fsx acceleration splash screen windows 10#
I am reasonably happy with what I have at the moment except for one thing. Microsoft Flight Simulator X (with SP1 & SP2 or Acceleration Pack), FSX: Steam Edition or Lockheed Martin Prepar3D V4.4+ Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP i3 processor with 3 GHz or similar Minimum 2 GB RAM (Recommended 4 GB RAM) 512 MB graphics card. Changed ENBSeries checks to warn but continue. I have been busy over the last few weeks tweaking, fiddling and experimenting to get the best compromise between performance and quality out of my Windows 7 and FSX Acceleration. Build 29 Removed close option from Installer Splash screen as closing messed up installation Added warning if 8 bit fix is set.
